Biographical Information

 

Naomi Rowley

 

Naomi  is currently Principal Organist at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay. An experienced church musician, she most recently served First United Methodist Church in Appleton as Principal Organist for seven years.

 

In addition, organ teaching continues to be an important interest. Currently she teaches at the Lawrence Academy of Music in Appleton and also maintains a private studio. Active as a workshop clinician, Naomi has conducted sessions in more than twenty states, specializing in presentations for new and less-experienced organists.

 

A member of the American Guild of Organists, she completes a two-year term as Dean of the Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter this spring and has served on several national committees of the organization including being Director of the National AGO Committee on the New Organist from 2001-2007.

Nancy Reichmann

 

Nancy is an  oboist and will assist with the recital.

 

Nancy  is applied oboe instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and band director at Ashwaubenon High School in Green Bay. Nancy is also a private teacher and freelance musician in the Green Bay area.

 

Education

·        Bachelor of Music degree in Education

·        Master of Music degree in Oboe Performance with an emphasis in woodwind pedagogy at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.

 

Nancy  was band director and Music Department Chair at Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio, for fifteen years, prior to moving to Green Bay in 2006
